The Townsville Chamber of Commerce, a dynamic and progressive not-for-profit organisation in Queensland, is currently seeking passionate and experienced individuals to join our Board of Directors.

Our board members have an extraordinary opportunity to shape the future of the business community in Townsville and supporting business to thrive.  Specifically our strategic focus is on reducing unfair costs and barriers to participation in regional Australia, reducing workforce challenges and raising the region through capability,  capacity and connection.

Our next AGM will be held in November 2024.

Internship Opportunities

Internship placements at Townsville Chamber are a fantastic opportunity for students to gain valuable experience in the small business sector. Please note that our internships are reserved for students enrolled in Australian universities only. Internships are a three-way formal agreement between The Townsville Chamber of Commerce the tertiary institution and the student. They are unpaid placements and can be taken up by students at any time throughout the year.
