Entrepreneurs' Program

Business Evaluation

This service provides an analysis of the eligible business carried out on-site by skilled and experienced Business Advisers.  This service may include advice, referrals and recommendations for improvement which is based on the customer's capacity, commitment and need to undertake significant improvements to their business.

Provides small and medium sized businesses with access to expert technology advice to address technology and knowledge gaps, and collaborate with the research sector in developing new ideas with commercial potential.

This grant provides expert guidance, connections and financial support to assist small and medium businesses, entrepreneurs and researchers to find the right commercialisation solutions for their novel products, process or service.

Incubator Support Program

This initiative provides grant funding to incubators to deliver support services to Australian start-ups with an interntional focus.  Grant funding is available through two components, New and Existing Incubators and Expert-in-Residence.

New and Existing Incubators: Minimum $26,000 and maximum $500,000

Expert-in-Residence: Minimum $5,000 and maximum $100,000.

Youth Jobs at PaTH - Prepare Trial Hire

This new Australian Government program aims to make it easier for businesses to find and recruit young people.The program enables a business to trial a young person in a work experience placement (called a PaTH internship) as well as access incentive payments.

This fund allocates grants to not-for-profit community groups, to enhance their capacity to provide services, leisure activities and opportunities for Queensland communities.

Round 4 Small Business Digital Grants Program

The Small Business Digital Grants provide up to $10,000 in matched funding to eligible businesses to enhance digital capabilities such as website optimisation, receiving online payments or creating a social media plan.

Mentoring for Growth Program

This program offers eligible businesses free access to a panel of between 6-8 volunteer business experts who offer insights, options and suggestions on business challenges relating to growth and innovation. Business owners are matched with mentors who have expertise and experience with issues participants have identified as causing concern or difficulty.

Back To Work Regional Employment Package

This package is designed to give businesses the confidence to employ regional jobseekers and provide an economic boost to regions facing challenging times.  Employer Support Payments are available for employers who hire an eligible jobseeker between 1 July 2016 and 30 June 2018.
