Australian Institute of Marine Science

AIMS's research effort is designed to meet the challenges facing our marine ecosystems and the requirements of our stakeholders. Museum of Tropical Queensland

The Museum of Tropical Queensland is the only branch of the Queensland Museum north of Brisbane. On Flinders Street in Townsville, our iconic building looks across Ross Creek in the city. Our focus is on researching and interpreting the cultural and natural heritage of tropical Queensland.
